Buttonhole Stitch – TAST Week 2
O my, second post today!
Just a quick word: TAST stitch 2 is buttonhole stitch
I haven’t done much with it yet and will probably only get round to it next weekend. This is my buttonhole sampler UFO from the very first TAST. It shows mainly different methods of working leaves in buttonhole stitches. I hope it will get finished this time round, or at least close to it.

Nothing better than a stitch that helps finish a UFO! I love your use of the buttonhole – very inventive!
This is very interesting. Amazing how much can be done with one stitch. I look forward to seeing what you add.
Now that is some very intricate and delicate work! Looks stunning!
Congratulations! We can almost fill the texture
I like the leaf variations you worked.
I like your buttonhole picture, and how you have used it on the leaves.
Wow, this is truly interesting and inspiring. The leaves are amazing.

Very nice your buttonhole
Lovely use of the stitch, and a good incentive to get it finished.
It’s wonderful to see your stitching again! I absolutely LOVE the double interlacing of the buttonhole stitch border. So unique. And the fly stitches are lovely.
Great effort, mine look measly in comparison… Keeping my fingers crossed that you can keep it up.

Very nice! I really like that threaded border at the top. Very inspiring!
I’m drooling! What a beautiful picture you are creating. I hope, also, to see it completed.
